Grilling asparagus is just great, if you haven’t tried it yet, you simply must. They get a nice smoky flavour and they stay crispy and tender. This is a simple recipe that doesn’t require much, you can find many other interesting asparagus recipes here.
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Lemon (optional)
Start by preparing the asparagus by cutting the tough bottom ends and gently washing them.
Heat up the grill.
Use a kitchen brush to coat the spears with oil and season with salt and pepper, Don’t use too much seasoning because it might overpower the asparagus.
Grill the spears for about one minute on one side then turn them and grill the other side for another minute.
Serve them with a lemon wedge.
