Find The Best Juice Extractor For Your Needs…
This is a question many people are asking and unfortunately it doesn’t have a straight answer. This is because there are three different types of juicers on the market and they all work in different ways.
Which type of juicer is the best all depends on your needs and wants. As it can be hard to get everything you want in one juicer, you often have to make a choice of what is most suitable for your needs. Some juice extractors will produce juice very quickly but the quality of the juice is not the highest. On the other hand you have juicers that works slower but you also get premium quality juice.
The three types of juicers are masticating juicers, centrifugal juicers and triturating juicers. I’ll cover each type separately and I’ll show you the benefits and disadvantages of each type, so when you have read this review you will be comfortable in buying the perfect juicer for your needs.
Centrifugal juicers are very popular because of their low price and ease of use. They produce juice very quickly and are often very easy to clean. These juicers work by having a centrifugal machine that grinds the vegetables and fruits into pulp. The pulp is then pushed through a strainer by spinning at a high speed.
The benefits of centrifugal juicers are their speed and price. If you are new to juicing and you are not planning on going all out, then this type of juicer is for you.
What Is The Best Centrifugal Juicer
In my opinion the best centrifugal juicer on the market right now is the Breville BJE200XL Compact Juice Fountain. This thing just works and it is not overly expensive. It has a powerful 700 watt motor that can handle almost any kind of vegetable and fruit. One thing it can’t handle is wheatgrass but no centrifugal juicer can do that. I think this is the best centrifugal juicer for the money.

A masticating juicer essentially crushes the fruits or vegetable, breaking down plant’s cell walls through a grinding motion, while at the same squeezing the produce against a screen, separating the juice from the pulp.
It operates at lower speeds than the centrifugal juicer. This means it is quieter and more important it protects the nutrients form oxidation and damage form the heat of faster types of juicers. Of course this also makes it slower but the slow speed delivers larger amounts of juice with more nutrients and its life cycle is often longer.
What Is The Best Masticating Juicer
If you have more money to spend and want a masticating juicer I recommend the Omega VRT 350 HD Juicer. This one produces some premium juice and does it quite fast. It also has a self cleaning feature that prevents the filter from clogging up.

At the top of the line are the triturating juicers. They work in the same way as the masticating juicers but it has two steps instead of one. In the first step the fruits and vegetables are crushed and in the second step the pulp is pressed. This gives you a juicer fuller in vitamins, minerals and enzymes than any other type of juicer can give.
The downside is the price and the time it takes to produce your juice. This type of juicer is for serious juice enthusiast. If you are just starting out juicing or only plan on using it once in a while I recommended you go for a cheaper type.
What Is The Best Triturating Juicer
If you want the best type of juicer and you don’t mind spending a little extra then you should buy the Green Star Elite GSE-5000 juicer. This is really one of the best triturating juicers for the money. I have used mine for years without any problems and in my opinion the juice it produces tastes great.
